Web 2.0

Times person of the year By Lev Grossman
In the article “Times person of the year: You”, written by Lev Grossman it talks about how Web 2.0 has shaped our minds and makes us depend in the internet. Web 2.0 has caused a revolution in our daily living. This article was really interesting and makes each one of us think about how we don’t realize problems that happen in the world that are more seriously and more painful than just being another addict of internet. The article talks about everything that has been created in internet such as: facebook, myspace, youtube, and other things that were created by geniuses and we need to give them credit for their work. However, we are the ones that used it every day and make it a part of our lives. The definition for the new web describes it perfectly: “It’s a tool for bringing together the small contributions of millions of people and making them matter.” The web 2.0 is something everyone uses and contributes to it, we are the ones that everyday make it work and each one of us is a part of the web 2.0. So you are the person of the year because you are the one that needs the internet for you daily basis.

"Facet and Neal-Schuman Release Web 2.0 Guides."
In this article written by Phil Bradley it talks about how you can use Web 2.0 in your library. He explains how you can use Web 2.0 in detail. You can learn how to use the instant messaging, how to share a picture, how to search in the internet and many other things. His main point of the article and book is for the reader to learn the most from each tool that the Web 2.0 offers.
