Advise For Students Taking CS1300
My personal advise for those students that are taking Computer Skills 1300 is that they should be ready to have a lot of homework, but at the end you will learn how to manage your computer and the Trinity Network.

My Favorite Websites and Stumpers
After watching all of my classmates websites, there were some that I like the most. I think that Jake's, Juan's, and Wayne's were the best ones. I liked Jake's website because I believe his pictures were interesting and I like the way he organize his website. Juan's website was intriguing to observe since he had awesome pictures of horses which I like a lot. Finally, Wayne's website was amazing since he showed his life in high school comparing his life in college. However, I believe everyone did a great job.
The picture stumpers that I like the most after observing every ones picture were Gustavo's, Sarah's, and Paul's. Gustavo's picture was hard to guess and I like the fact he did not give us to much clues. In the other hand, Sarah's picture was amazing, since I like the fact she showed us many interesting details of Beeze. Finally, Paul's stumper was a place in Trinity that was hard to guess, and I like how he organized his stumper and clues. He did a great job. However, everyone's picture stumper's were really nice and I enjoy watching them.

Bad PowerPoint
From the presentations we had today in class, the ones I liked the most were Dennis, Juan, and Paul's presentations. Denns's presentation was unique, and I like the fact that he used dinosaurs as his topic. It was really short with just two slides, had small font which made it hard to read, and the images were very confusing because there were a lot of images of different kinds of dinosaurs. Afterwards, Juan's presentation was confusing because it had a lot of pictures, and the font was small, making it hard to read for the audience and even for him. Finally, Paul's presentation was, in my opinion, the best because he explained clearly how not to do a bad power point. First you need to make sure the technology works, the images and graphics should be clear and easy to understand. He also said you need to finish in time. Most of the presentations shown in class were fun and were really bad, achieving the purpose of the homework.

Copyright Issue
Copyright gives legal credit to an author; it gives the author the control to decide the circulation of their work. If I want to use an image from the internet, there are some steps I need to check before using it. If I took the picture and I am putting my own picture in the blog I don’t need any condition of copyright. However, if I am taking an image from a website in which I need permission, I first need to ask the copyright agent if am aloud to use the image in my blog. Moreover, if you are just making comments and analyzing the picture you don´t need any kind of citation. Copyright just helps you give credit to the author, so before putting the picture in your blog follow this steps so you don´t have any problems.

Web 2.0
Times person of the year By Lev Grossman
In the article “Times person of the year: You”, written by Lev Grossman it talks about how Web 2.0 has shaped our minds and makes us depend in the internet. Web 2.0 has caused a revolution in our daily living. This article was really interesting and makes each one of us think about how we don’t realize problems that happen in the world that are more seriously and more painful than just being another addict of internet. The article talks about everything that has been created in internet such as: facebook, myspace, youtube, and other things that were created by geniuses and we need to give them credit for their work. However, we are the ones that used it every day and make it a part of our lives. The definition for the new web describes it perfectly: “It’s a tool for bringing together the small contributions of millions of people and making them matter.” The web 2.0 is something everyone uses and contributes to it, we are the ones that everyday make it work and each one of us is a part of the web 2.0. So you are the person of the year because you are the one that needs the internet for you daily basis.
"Facet and Neal-Schuman Release Web 2.0 Guides."
In this article written by Phil Bradley it talks about how you can use Web 2.0 in your library. He explains how you can use Web 2.0 in detail. You can learn how to use the instant messaging, how to share a picture, how to search in the internet and many other things. His main point of the article and book is for the reader to learn the most from each tool that the Web 2.0 offers.
